Our Mission is to provide affordable and eco-friendly housing solutions for vulnerable populations, transforming lives through sustainable rehoused shipping container homes.
Brandon Carter
Founder & President
Over the past six years, I’ve volunteered with more than half a dozen organizations, and one thing has stayed with me: standing up for someone in their time of need can change everything. As President of Pillar of Mercy Homes, that’s exactly what I’ve committed to doing—standing up for individuals and families who need a safe, dignified place to call home. It’s about more than shelter; it’s about restoring hope. The road ahead is long, but with each home we intend to build and each life we touch, I’m reminded why every step matters.

I love helping people solve problems—both at work and in my community. I volunteer regularly and believe in showing up where help is needed most. That’s why I’m proud to be involved in this project lending my skills documenting, scheduling, and communicating effectively with people I have yet to meet. Turning shipping containers into safe, sustainable homes is about more than shelter—it’s about building stronger communities for the people who need them.
